Today we had a really nice day as a family. We had a visit from DooDah and also a visit from Grandma Clo. It was nice! Emily took a long afternoon nap and when she woke up we had her pool ready for her to swim in- and then we got dried off and settled and ready for a WATERMELON snack! We weren't sure how Emily would like it- but we gave her a whole 1/4 of a watermelon. She did pretty good with mommy and daddy's help!
After we got cleaned up from eating watermelon we had a bbq. We had some bbq chicken breasts on the grill and some corn on the cob. We also had potato salad. Emily LOOOVED the bbq sauce. She ate an entire chicken breast with the bbq sauce. We were amazed! It was a super fun day full of laughs, smiles, and good times! Also we showed her a sparkler and she thought that was pretty neat!

Looks like a FUN 4th! Love the watermelon pictures so much!!! We tried sparklers and a few fireworks but Quinn got a little afraid if they made any sounds :)
